Salpo CRM contact hierarchy is layered into two main types of contacts:
- Individuals
- Organisations
Standard contact details and custom fields can be set up against Individuals and Organisations to help collect, store and analyse any necessary data to meet business requirements.
Individuals
An Individual contact in the Salpo CRM is known as a single person contact. An Individual contact profile displays an icon of a person for easy identification. Connecting Individuals to modules (Organisation, Custom Object, Product, or Opportunity) within the system helps to build relationships between the modules. This management of contacts increases the business intelligence that can be gained by later filtering on the data via connections and custom fields.
Organisations
An Organisation contact in the Salpo CRM is a business entity used to record organisational information. An Organisation contact profile displays an icon of a building for identification. Creating connections as Employ (individuals) / Supplier (of products)/ Division of (another organisation) and other connections will optimise the usage of the contact types.
