Communications are recorded and displayed in two locations:
- Communications list overview
Click on the Communications tab in the top menu bar > select Communications
- Contact, Opportunity, Product and Custom Object profile pages
Navigate to a Contact or module profile page > click on the Communications tab to view Communications related specifically to that module.
All Communications are listed in the Communication list view page. The Add Communication window becomes available to record Standard or Scheduled Communications upon selecting to add a Communication in either the list or profile page views. See Add Standard and Scheduled Communications for more information about this action.
Communication settings can be managed/viewed within each module by navigating to the Custom Object or Product type sections within the Control Panel (permissions required).
Within the header of each Communication is the type, any importance flags, participants of the Communication (the name of who initiated the conversation is shown first), subject, date/time, and any reminders. The Communication can be expanded to view the body content by clicking on the header.
