Sync DEAR Customers into Salpo CRM to view Sales and Purchase Order summaries within the Contact profile pages and to pull the data pertaining to DEAR Contact profile standard fields into Salpo CRM Contact profiles.
Upon enabling the DEAR integrations by default, a new Contact category named DEAR Information and related Contact custom fields are created within the Control panel > Contact Custom fields to capture data from DEAR Contact profile standard fields when importing Contacts from DEAR Systems.
The fields displayed are determined by what fields are selected in the integration set up window.
Navigate to the DEAR integration badge and click on the More Details hyperlink to access the set up. Click on the Contact Settings tab option and then the Sync Contacts button.
This open the Sync Contacts window model. To edit which fields pull from DEAR into Salpo, and show on the Contact record, click on the Edit hyperlink.
A list of the available data fields and Additional Attributes within DEAR will display for selection. Click on the desired field to select it, or click on it again to deselect the field if it should no longer display in Salpo. These fields can be edited at any time by any Users with access to the Control Panel.
After clicking Save, click on the Sync Now button within the Sync Contacts window to begin the sync of Contacts from DEAR into Salpo.
The Contact sync will process in the background and an email will be sent to the logged in user's email account once the import is complete. Depending on the amount of contacts syncing, this may take some time.

DEAR Customers type Contacts will be saved as Organisations within Salpo CRM.
DEAR Associated Customer Contacts are saved as Individuals within Salpo CRM.
By default, a Works for connection is created between the imported Organisations (Customers) and Individuals (Contacts) for easy reference.
In the process of Syncing with Dear contacts, Salpo CRM will run a quick check through the Salpo contact list to find any pre-existing Organisations (Customers) and Individuals (Contacts) prior to creating a new Organisation or Individual profile.
By default, the data saved against standard Contact fields in DEAR systems will be pulled into Salpo Contact profiles when Importing contacts from DEAR Systems. Such information will be available underneath the default Dear Information Contact category.
If an existing contact is found, any Sales & Purchase records from DEAR will populate against that existing Salpo CRM contact profile (Contact profile > Dear System tab).
New Organisation & Individual profiles will be created for Customer and Contact DEAR records that are not existing already within Salpo CRM.
It is important to know that Salpo CRM will allow contacts from DEAR Systems only if the Contact contains clean data. All contacts that contain invalid data (Ex- Invalid Email addresses/ Invalid phone numbers, etc..) will not be imported into a Salpo instance.
DEAR contact details such as phone, email and address are included in the Contact sync and will update the linked record in Salpo.
It is important to note the sync only copies one phone number and/or one email address. If there are additional phone, email linked to a DEAR Customer or Contact, they can be added manually in Salpo.
For addresses, Salpo copies the DEAR Billing and Shipping address if available.
The status of the contact import will be stated in the import confirmation email notification. A link to download the list of rejected contacts and the reason for rejection will be available in the body of the confirmation email.
