Select the appropriate DEAR Systems sales order type under the Create sales as drop-down.
Customer - By default, the Opportunity primary contact will populate in the Customer field. In case the customer contact is not in sync with DEAR Systems, a quick sync option will be available at the bottom of the sales order window to sync the contact with DEAR Systems at the same time as creating the sales order.
Contact - All Contacts connected to the Opportunity via standard or custom connections will appear under the Contact drop-down. The Contact selected will be saved as a Contact against the Customer profile in DEAR Systems.
Billing Address - The address of the primary Opportunity Contact and all other connected Contact addresses will appear underneath the Billing Address filed. The address selected here will be where the invoice is sent.
Shipping Address - Just like in the Billing Address, the address of the primary Opportunity Contact and all other connected Contact addresses will appear underneath the Shipping Address filed. The address selected here will be where the order is sent.
Although Products synced from DEAR and Products created directly within Salpo can be added against the same Opportunity, when creating a DEAR sales order only Products synced from DEAR will total as part of the order. All of the connected Products will show within the sales order, but the Products created within Salpo will be grayed out and disabled for users to select. DEAR synced Products can be selected or deselected.
Click the checkbox on the first column header right before the SKU column to attribute all DEAR Products to the sales order. Or, select individually select desired Products to customise the sales order.
Tax Rate - Salpo CRM will automatically collect and display the Tax rates assigned to each Product in DEAR Systems inventory. This filed cannot be edited.
Click Create to generate the sales order in DEAR Systems. The order will be be available immediately within DEAR and an order summary line will populate under the DEAR tab within the Opportunity. An identical order summary line will appear under the DEAR tab within the primary Contact's profile page.
