To edit an existing Object name or the data in a custom field on the Object profile page, click on the Edit pencil icon option shown next to the data field and then make the necessary changes.
To confirm the changes, select the green check box icon. This action saves the changes made to this field.
Connect a Contact
Click the green Add button next to the spanner icon and select the Contact option. Use the Contact Name lookup field to choose an existing CRM contact. Add a label to the contact if applicable, this field is not required.
Connect a Product
Click on the green Add button next to the spanner icon and select the applicable Product category. Use the Product Name lookup field to choose one of the Products added to or synced with the CRM. Add a label to the Product if applicable, this field is not required.
Connect an Opportunity
Click on the green Add button next to the spanner icon and select Opportunity. The standard Add Opportunity window will pop-up. Create a new Opportunity from this window or connect the Object to an existing Opportunity within the CRM. Add a label to the Opportunity if applicable, this field is not required.
Connect an Object
Click on the green Add button next to the spanner icon and select the applicable Object. Use the Object Name lookup field to choose one of the Objects added to the CRM. Add a label to the Object if applicable, this field is not required.
Note: To remove a Contact, Product, Opportunity or Object select the bin icon across from the module name. This will permanently remove the module from this Object instance.
Upload a file
Select the same Add drop down and select File. Add a label name and select the Choose File option and once the file has been identified, click Save. The file will be available via a hyperlink under the Files tab in that Object profile page. To permanently delete a file from the Object instance, click on the Delete button to the right on that file line.
To permanently remove an Object, in example removing an incorrectly created Project not just closing it out, click on the spanner icon on the Object’s profile page and select Delete.
Note: The Object in use must have Allow Contacts, Files, Products, Opportunities and/or Objects for the above connections to be available.
