It is likely that when building a document template, it is to replicate an existing document so a layout and any content requirements will already be in mind. The form builder allows for easy design and re-design if a layout is not already established.
Start building the template by dragging and dropping layout fields from the left panel into the container (or middle of the screen). The layout fields define the structure of the form. Multiple different layouts formats are provided for a customised look and feel to the form. Apply many or as few layout fields as necessary to recreate the desired structure.
After adding a few layouts to the container, the screen will look something like this:
After building the preferred layout, the content needs to be added. The content options to add are either text or images.
Drag and drop the Paragraph or Image icon into the desired layout position.
After populating the layout with the appropriate text or image content boxes, the screen may look something like this:
The text boxes are small and are noted by their editing icons. The image boxes is more easily idenfiable with the default image. The text and images are managed from within each individual content box using the edit fields. Hover over the X symbol to populate the settings cog.
Click the Save Template icon to save all changes.
