Over the past couple of months we have released the following:
Display imported contacts as a filter. If you want to view the contacts that were added to Lighthouse via the import tool, you can now do so from the 'More' dropdown on the contact list page.
Decimal places. Create number fields with decimal places, good for currency, meter readings etc.
Search results page. The top search box is restricted to 10 results. You can now see all results by hitting enter.
A new 'Getting started' checklist. For those who need a helping hand getting Lighthouse setup, there is a new setup check list on the home page (for users with control panel access).
Contact hover box. You can now view contact details quickly by hovering over their name on any page.
Reactivate deleted users. You can now restore deleted users from the user page inside the control panel.
Password improvements. As part of a larger security update we've improved Lighthouses' password policy
Reactivate deleted custom fields. Deleted custom fields can now be reactivated via the control panel.
More communication type options. Choose from an extended list of communication types (we couldn't get rid of Fax though - there is someone out there somewhere!).
Custom field place-holders. All custom fields now have a place-holder inside, to help you determine what type of data it requires.
Improved contact export. We've updated the contact export to contain first name and last name in separate columns, keeping the original full name column as well.
What's next...
In the next two/three weeks we are working on and aim to release the following:
Filter by address. We've extended the address fields you can filter by to include the street address town and county.
Filter by last communicated date. Use the filter to find contacts who you communicated with between date ranges.
Order custom fields. Swap the order of custom fields and custom field categories from the control panel so you have complete control how they display on profile pages and other locations.
Mandatory custom fields. Select which custom fields need to be completed, when adding and editing contacts/objects.
Deeper contact filtering. Search between two contacts via the connections.
Deeper object filtering. Similar to two contacts, you'll be able to find contacts who are linked to objects (or vice versa).
Saved filtering on object pages. Updating the other list pages around Lighthouse to include saved filtering.
Next/Prev buttons on object pages. Added the navigation buttons you find on a contact profile across to other profile pages like objects.
Improve saved filtering layout. The saved filter will be moved to a sliding column on the list page, making way for when we add more data to the list page (coming soon).
NOT filter option. A NOT filter will allow you to reverse the filter you created, so instead of 'Show me all contacts who I contacted in January', it will be 'Show me all contacts who I didn't contact in January'.
