Opportunities are configured within the control panel. Navigate to the Control Panel via the cog icon in the top menu bar and then select Opportunities.

Name & Plural
The module name 'Opportunity' is not hard-coded into the system and can be renamed. In an example, a travel agency may prefer the term 'Booking' as it reflects the business use more accurately. The company would then change the Opportunity name to Booking and change the plural from Opportunities to Bookings.
Won & Lost
By default Opportunities uses the labels 'Won' and 'Lost' across the system; however, these terms can be changed as well. In an example, the same travel agency may change the term Won to 'Booked' but leave the term Lost as is.
This field defines the default currency the organisaion is operating in. The Base currency cannot be changed once added.More than 100 of the most common currencies are available for selection. When creating a new Opportunity the Base currency auto-populates; however, the value can be changed within the new Opportunity window.
The Salpo CRM email connector can be used with Opportunities to track Communications related to the specific Opportunity. By adding a prefix in the settings, every Opportunity is assigned a tag containing the prefix and Opportunity ID. In example, if the prefix is set to 'opp,' the tag for the 100th Opportunity would be 'opp100.'
Including these tags inside the subject line of emails, sent or received, will automatically crate a copy of the email against the Opportunity. These emails show as Communications under the Communications tab on the Opportunity's profile page. Read more about syncing emails here.
Once the appropriate changes have been made within the Opportunity settings, select Update Settings to save.
