Communications are recorded against contacts and modules.
The bulk action functionality allows users to record a particular “Standard” or “Scheduled” Communication against a list of contacts from the contact list view page. Refer to Filtering Contacts to learn more about how to defining lists.
To add a Communication to many contacts at once, meaning in bulk, follow the below steps:
- The contact list view filters assist users to define a list of preferred contacts
- Only upon filtering the list of contacts will the “Update” function will be available under the “Actions” drop-down, in the contact list view page.
- Edit Type - Choose the Update contact communications option and click Next.
You can record your Standard or Scheduled communications by switching between Add standard communication / Add scheduled communication (Refer: Logging communications), and click next
- Edit Breakdown - Record the Communication then click Next. Refer to Add Standard and Scheduled Communications) to learn more about how to input a Communication.
Select “update Contact communications” and next
Note: "[Select contacts]" is set to default.
The updated Communications can be viewed within the Communication list view page and on each of the contact profile pages.
